AWA is committed to transparency and accountability. Our annual reports describe our activities, the people we reached, the challenges we faced and how funds were used.
In 2023, AWA worked in health, education, skills and livelihoods, water, sanitation and hygiene, protection and empowerment, and environmental sustainability. Highlights include menstrual-hygiene workshops for women with albinism, 100 medicated soap bars distributed in remote communities, inclusion sessions in three primary schools, the International Albinism Awareness Day talent show and trade fair, the awareness film “Decline”, and radio and television programmes on CRTV, Abakwa Radio, Afrique Nouvelle Radio and Star TV. The report also includes a full financial overview for the year.
